Can I pick up a friend's packet?
You may pick up packets for friends/family. No additional documentation is needed. Just know their bib number and be able to verify the spelling of their name and age.
How long do I have to finish the race?
There is a 5 hour time limit for the half marathon and a 6.5 hour time limit for the full marathon. The 5k and 10k have no time limit and are walker friendly.

May I register in person? by mail?
Registration forms are no longer accepted in person at Running Fit stores. You may choose to mail in your registration which must be postmarked by April 1st to be accepted. See the Registration Info page for more details.
Is the course stroller friendly?
The 5k course is stroller friendly. Strollers are not allowed on the 10K, Half Marathon or Full Marathon courses.
Is the course pet friendly?
As fond as we are of the K-9 Corps, we encourage you to leave your pets at home for the comfort and safety of other runners.
I was injured after registering for the race. Can I get a refund or defer until next year?
No – there will be NO refunds or deferments. We incur fixed costs for each runner based on registration numbers. As a result, we are not able to allow any refunds.
Can I switch race distances?
You may transfer your registration from one distance to another for a fee. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org or you may complete your transfer at the expo. All transfers must be done prior to race week.
Can I transfer my registration to a friend?
You may transfer your registration to a friend for a transfer fee. Contact email@example.com to make that change. All transfers must be done prior to race week.
Is there an age requirement for the races?
There is no age requirement. However, all minors must submit a registration signed by their parent and a parent/guardian must be present on race day.
What is included with my entry fee?
Your race entry fee includes admission to the Expo, an event tech shirt, finisher’s medal, aid station services, award eligibility, post race refreshments and final race results.
Can I wear headphones on the course?
We discourage the use of headphones, but it is permitted.
Will the event go on rain or shine?
The event will go on rain or shine with only the possibility of delay in the event of lightning.
How many water stations are there on the course? What type of energy drink and gel will be available?
Aid stations will be available every 3 or so miles with Absopure water and Gatorade. There will be two GU stops in the Half Marathon and 4 GU stops in the Full Marathon.
Are there bathrooms available on the course?
Bathrooms will be available about every 5 miles, either port-o-johns or park bathhouses.
Are there showers available to runners after the event?
There are no showers available to athletes post race. However, if you are staying at one of the nearby hotels most of them are offering our runners late check out times.
Is The Martian Marathon a Boston Marathon Qualifier?
Yes, The Martian Marathon is a USATF certified course and Boston Marathon qualifier.
I don’t remember if I registered. How can I check and find out?
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out if you are registered. A couple of things to note before you do....check your spam folder in your inbox. Make sure you have not blocked our midweek mail email, if you do, you also will not receive any other communication from us, including race specific information. You can re-sign up for the midweek mail at rfevents.com at least for the time leading up to the event and a couple of weeks after. When you are registered, you will receive a confirmation email from us, make sure you enter a legitimate email address in your registration form.
Can I register on the day of the race?
Yes, there is race day registration available at Ford Field Park starting at 6am through to 15 minutes prior to each race start.
Is it possible to drive the Marathon course?
Only prior to race day; the course is closed to vehicles on race day.
